Analysis:

The Falcons have the best collection of skill position players in the NFL, hands down.  The drop off from the starters is a nonissue when guys like Tevin Coleman and Taylor Gabriel are your backups.  Matt Ryan has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal and the players above are the reason this is the best offense in the NFL this year, and a good portion of the reason that Ryan is the frontrunner for MVP.  Freeman and Coleman are 1 and 1A, and if you combine their numbers, they are as good as any back in football.  Jones missed a few games this year but he is still the best receiver in football, and Sanu continues to benefit from a clear #1 across from him (first it was AJ Green in Cincinnati, now with Jones).

One thing that really stands out is the lack of turning the ball over.  Three fumbles from the skill position players in one season?  That’s ridiculous!  There are some games where players have three fumbles.  New England is going to have to do some serious game-planning for the Falcons because they definitely won’t be beating themselves.
