The Just Average Sports Guys agreed on a season high 12 games in week 16. It’s now time to see how we did in these games. We went 7-5 in the games in which we all agreed on. Not great, but not completely terrible either. I mean come on, did anyone see the Browns and the Jaguars winning in the same week?
My streak of consecutive weeks with an above .500 record came to a crashing halt in week 16 as I went 7-9 overall. Both Tampa Bay and Indianapolis let me down as I went 0-2 in the games I was solo on with my picks. I have officially waived the white flag, and surrendered any hope of finishing in anything other than last place.
Matt is still two games back of Dan after week 16 and comfortably in second place overall. In the one game where Matt was different than Dan and I, Matt went 1-0, as Miami was able to make him look good. With one week remaining in the regular season, do you think Matt can catch and overtake Dan for first place, and all the bragging rights?
Dan remains in first place, a place he’s been most, if not all season. Dan was the only one to correctly pick the Redskins as winners, as Matt and I were once again disappointed by the Chicago Bears. No surprise there, right Bears fans? Like we asked with Matt, do you believe that Dan will be able to hold off Matt in week 17 and win the regular season picks bragging rights?
