There are a season high ten games this week in which all three Just Average Sports Guys agree on. As always, the question is how will we do in these games? Some weeks we are great, and other weeks, no so much. All three of us had Seattle winning last night, and to no one’s surprise the Seahawks came out the Thursday Night Football winner. The teams this week that we agree on are as follows: Seattle, Green Bay, Houston, Buffalo (they can’t lose to the Browns can they), Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Arizona, New England, and Oakland.
I stretched my winning streak to four weeks where I’ve had a winning record with my weekly picks. While I’m still not close on capturing second place, and reside in a distant third place, I am still aiming at not finishing in last. Can I continue my winning ways and make it five straight weeks with a winning record? This week, I picked five games differently than both Matt and Dan. In order for me to continue to win, it is important that I have success in these games. I am counting on they Jets, Eagles, Colts, Bucs, and Panthers to be winners this week. I realize I am expecting a lot, but this is the NFL and anything can happen.
Matt has pulled to within one game of relieving Dan of his first place duties. We are running out of weeks, but Matt is counting on continued success. There were no games this week that Matt picked differently than Justin and Dan. This basically amounts to Matt playing it safe and assuring himself not to fall out of reach of Dan.
Is Dan’s time atop the leader board coming to an end? Will Dan have a perfect week re-establish his reign as superior picker? Like the last two weeks, Dan only had one game in which he was on his own in week fifteen. Dan was the only Average Sports Guy to believe the Giants will beat the red hot Detroit Lions.
