There are six games this week in which all three Just Average Sports Guys agree on. Will be able to do as well as we did last week when we all agreed? We just squeaked win number one in week 13 last night as Dallas did everything they could to give that game to Minnesota. Other teams this week that you’ll catch all of us cheering together for are New Orleans, New England, Denver (can I change my mind as word is Paxton Lynch is getting career start #2), San Francisco, Pittsburgh, and Washington. We also all have the Browns winning a game……oh wait, they aren’t playing this week, never mind then.
Last week was indeed the week that I broke back above .500 on the year. Will I continue my winning ways this week? Chances are probably not, but hey, it gives us something to pay attention to every week. I clearly went in my own direction this week, picking six games differently than both Matt and Dan. In order for me to continue to win, I will need Kansas City, Houston, Cincinnati, Miami, Carolina, and the Jets all to win.
Matt did not succeed in taking over the top spot last week and actually lost some ground. He is hoping for a rebound week this week. There was only one game where Matt went rogue this week. That came with his pick of San Diego over Tampa Bay on Sunday.
As we mentioned, Dan increased his season lead to a 5 game margin and is banking on another good week in week 13. Like Matt, Dan only had one game in which he was on his own this week. Dan (a Bills fan) went with the homer pick and chose Buffalo to beat Oakland this week.
I don’t see much change this week on the leaderboard with our week 13 picks. Please let us know where we are wrong or where you might agree with us this week.
